Description:

P349b, Overpinted with '120 Piastres'. Planned to be used by the occupying Allied troops in Turkey after the expected success of The Gallipoli Campaign

    Notes:
  • The £1 note was reportedly issued in smaller numbers to officers and as such is much rarer than the 10/- notes which were distributed amongst the enlisted men. Very few of the pounds have survived and this is one of the better examples.
  • Condition:
  • Very Fine, excepting two major piercings and numerous pin holes. Highly presentable.
