Conditions of Sale
The general terms and conditions of Smalls Auctions are subject to Australian Consumer Law and are governed by the laws of New South Wales which warrants that all lots are offered with clear title.
• Subject to any reserve price the highest bidder shall be the purchaser.
• In the case of two identical bids, the first bid received will take precedence.
• Internet bidders must register online 24 hours prior to the commencement of the Sale.
• Room bidders must complete a Registration Form before they will be permitted to bid.
• All auction lots are in the opinion of 'Smalls Auctions' faithfully described. Internet bidders who dispute the veracity of a description may return a purchase within 14 days of the conclusion of the sale, only if they can provide contrary written expert advice that a lot is a deliberate forgery or fake, or not in working order in the case of a mechanical or electronic device if this was indicated in the description. This limited right of return does not apply to a purchaser who has inspected a lot prior to sale.
• All purchases are subject to a 15% Buyer's Premium on the hammer price. This charge includes all foreseeable fees including local Australian taxes, credit card charges, and surcharges by our online service provider Invaluable.com.
• Additional standard freight charges apply as per our listed schedule.
• Title on lots will not pass until full payment has been received by Smalls Auctions which is required within 7 days of the conclusion of the Sale.
Credit Card With ID
For new customers photo identification matching a scan of their card details is required
Shipping Terms
AUSTRALIA: Purchases within Australia will be charged a MINIMUM SHIPPING FEE of $5.50 and will be sent by Registered Post. Additional insurance is optional at the buyer's expense.
INTERNATIONAL: Overseas purchases will be charged a MINIMUM SHIPPING FEE of $20.00 and will be sent by Registered Post International. Additional insurance is optional at the buyer's expense.
Both Australian and International packages are traceable in transit and require a signature on delivery.
Buyers Premium
Purchasers may inspect the merchandise and are urged to do so. The Auctioneer makes no warranty as to condition and shall not be responsible for any defects in any Lot. Any used firearm should be inspected by a competent gunsmith for safety, function, and proper ammunition type/size before attempting to fire. Any description of mechanical function or condition does NOT mean the gun has been inspected or tested for firing capabilities. All goods are exposed for Public Exhibition and, for Internet buyer's condition is described in the listings. Item descriptions, dimensions and estimates are provided for guidance. It is the buyer's responsibility to inspect all lots prior to bidding to ensure that the condition is to their satisfaction. If potential buyers are unable to inspect lots in person, our staff will be happy to prepare detailed Condition Reports on individual lots. These are for guidance only, and all lots will be sold as described, as per our Terms and Conditions of Sale. All goods are sold "AS IS" and "WITHOUT RECOURSE".
We have tried to describe each lot as accurately as possible, and we have included descriptive photographs as well. However, we are selling each lot "AS IS" and there will be no returns allowed if you are not satisfied with condition. Please satisfy yourself as to the condition of the item before bidding.
Tax Details
Taxes, Duties and Customs Charges that apply in the country of delivery are the express responsibility of the buyer. Please notify us if you require a specific description on the outside of the package for customs purposes.
