Auction 60 Highlights

Welcome to Sale 60

This sale contains a selection of Jewellery for all budgets and tastes. Sterling Silver Jewellery is the preserve of the young and the young at heart and in our sale, we have a number of Marcasite earrings, pendants and bracelets that allowed Depression-era women to dress up to the nines when Diamonds were beyond reach. They are still very sought after today and our sale contains some very desirable examples. As usual there is a smattering of Jewellery with Diamonds and other precious gemstones such as Rubies, Sapphires and Aquamarines for those on a slightly bigger budget and there is also a good selection of Mourning Jewellery. These pieces are superbly crafted and were worn by family members to celebrate the life of dearly departed.

The selection of Russian Silver Soldiers relates to a time when money was no object. It would have been a very lucky boy who played with these crafted silver soldiers while the commoners lined up their lead troops for battle.

There is also a very good selection of ivory items for sale as well as an extensive Shell Collection which is being broken up across five lots of fifty or more.

Smalls Auctions will be closed over the Christmas break and we will be holding a mega-sale commencing on the 20th December that will conclude on the 5th of January.

Happy bidding
