Welcome to Smalls Auctions Sale 164.

In this Sale we have on offer an interesting group of Gold Pocket Watches including an IWC Watch with a rare 18ct Case featuring an impressed Classical Head as well as a couple of Art Deco design Women’s Wristwatches.

There is also a great selection of Australian Modern Commemorative Coin issues most with small mintages and many with interesting design features such as colour highlights and holograms that enhance their designs. They are starting off at a fraction of their catalogue values and are well worth a look.

There is also a selection of quality Australian Paper Decimal Banknotes most in Uncirculated OPQ condition. OPQ is an acronym for Original Paper Quality and is an assurance that the notes we offer are as described and have not been ‘helped along’ by bleaching, pressing or some other process in an attempt to ‘improve’ their appearance. Unfortunately, sham grading has been a problem in the collectables industry for decades and the larger dealers are not immune from the practice but be assured that our descriptions will always tell you if we believe a note has been repaired or altered in appearance  in an attempt to deceive. A bargain is not always a bargain particularly if you are buying notes online that is heavily over graded.

The Sale concludes with a small selection of Militaria items including some ‘Sweetheart Brooches’ which are very desirable amongst collectors.
